Privacy Policy

Confidentiality is not just an ethical obligation; it is the cornerstone of a successful therapeutic relationship. As a therapist, I understand that people need to feel safe and secure in order to share their deepest thoughts and emotions. By ensuring confidentiality, I create an environment where clients can freely explore their feelings and work towards healing.

I follow the strict code of conduct outlined by the British Psychoanalytic Council, which emphasises the importance of maintaining confidentiality. I will only disclose information if necessary to prevent serious harm, as required by law. If this is ever the case I will involve you in the process, prioritising your safety and well-being.

I take this responsibility seriously, and I make it my priority to protect your privacy at all times. This means ensuring that patient records are kept securely, and that all identifying details are changed in supervision sessions. I only work with supervisors who abide by the same strict ethical code.

Your privacy matters. Trust that I will safeguard it throughout our therapeutic journey together.
